Dr. Borkar Hospital cum Residence

This architectural project represents a specialized mixed-use structure designed for a doctor or small medical group, efficiently integrating a clinical practice with the owner’s residence over three floors. The Ground and First Floors are dedicated to the Hospital/Clinic operations, requiring a highly professional and functional layout. The Ground Floor would serve as the main public entry point, accommodating the Reception, Waiting Area, Administration, and potentially an Emergency/Consultation Room, ensuring easy accessibility. The First Floor would house more specialized medical facilities, including a small Operation Theatre, patient Wards/Rooms, and support areas like a Laboratory, all connected by wide corridors and a dedicated lift for patient transport.

The Second Floor is reserved entirely for the private Residential Unit, creating a necessary functional and auditory separation from the healthcare activities below. This floor is designed as a complete, self-contained apartment for the owner, featuring a spacious Living Area, Kitchen, Dining Space, and Bedrooms. The design should utilize the roof area of the floor below to incorporate private outdoor amenities like a Terrace or large balcony, distinguishable by elements like wooden screening or glass railings (as seen in the architectural style). Crucially, access to the residence must be strictly controlled, ideally through a separate, private stairwell or a security-controlled elevator stop, preventing hospital traffic from accessing the living space.
