This modern research laboratory complex is designed to accommodate Biosafety Level 1 to Level 4 (BSL–1 to BSL–4) laboratories within a single, integrated facility. The architectural planning emphasizes safety, functionality, and controlled circulation for both personnel and materials. The central block serves as the main entry and administrative core, connecting the various research zones through secure transition corridors.
The building’s design incorporates zoning by biosafety level, ensuring proper segregation of clean and containment areas. Advanced air filtration systems, negative pressure environments, and interlocking doors are integrated for biosecurity. The façade reflects a clean, linear geometry using modern materials, while horizontal fenestrations allow natural lighting in non-containment zones, promoting a healthy working environment.
Ample parking, green buffer zones, and well-planned service areas complement the facility’s operational efficiency. This project represents a state-of-the-art laboratory infrastructure, supporting high-level biomedical and infectious disease research while adhering to international biosafety and architectural standards.
